Liebe Menschen da draußen, ich hoffe, euch geht es gut & ihr habt sämtliche Feiertage in letzter Zeit gut überstanden? Vielleicht brennt ihr ja ein bisschen darauf zu erfahren, wie es bei mir war. Nunja, auch wenn nicht, hier kommt mein Weihnachten/Silvester in Kurzfassung:
Am 22.12. morgens um 05:00 kamen unsere Paraguayaner Katrin & Lorenz, um uns über die Feiertage Gesellschaft zu leisten. Wir haben dann Sonntag Abend auch gleich erstmal 'ne kleine Party geschmissen, damit die beiden gleich mal ein paar unserer Freunde kennen lernen. Am Montag sind die beiden mit in Johannas & Caspars Projekt gefahren & nachmittags haben wir noch unser "Heiligabend" vorbereitet: Eingekauft, Pebre selber gemacht (typisch chilenischer Dip), Gemüse- & Obststäbe gemacht & es war noch Sophias Geburtstag, den wir ein bisschen bei ihr zu Hause gefeiert haben.
Am 24. morgens mussten wir also nur noch unsere Kühltruhe schnappen & ab dafür! Wir sind dann mit dem Bus nach Tomé zu einem schönen Pazifikstrand gefahren & haben uns da ein kleines Lager aufgeschlagen. Haben uns einen Grill gebastelt & einen schönen Tag dort verbracht. Blöd war nur, dass wir alle in der Sonne eingeschlafen sind & uns einfach aufgrund des Windes nicht aufgefallen ist, wie heiß es eigentlich war. Fazit: kollektiver Sonnenbrand. Jeder konnte irgendwo was vorweisen; war schön ;-) Abends haben wir dann schnell geduscht, uns 'n bisschen schick gemacht & sind zur Kirche gegangen; bisschen Tradition muss dann doch sein. & abends haben wir "Bescherung" gemacht & Obststäbe gegessen. Ich für meinen Teil habe nicht viele Geschenke bekommen, aber dafür die schönsten: Ich habe zum 1. Mal mit meiner Familie geskypet & Johanna hat mir die Bustickets nach Valparaíso geschenkt, wo wir Silvester feiern wollten. Ich hatte mich dagegen entschieden mitzukommen, weil mir das einfach zu teuer war. Wie ihr ja größtenteils wisst, kommt Carsten mich Ende Januar für 3 Wochen besuchen & wir wollen auch ein bisschen rumreisen & da Geld ja bekanntlich nicht auf Bäumen wächst, habe ich gesagt, dass ich dann lieber nicht mit nach Valparaíso reise, damit ich nachher nicht beim Reisen mit Carsten einsparen muss. Naja, großen Dank an Johanna, ich bin glücklicherweise doch mit nach Valparaíso, aber dazu gleich noch mehr.
Am 1. Weihnachtstag sind wir zu Camilo & mit Camilo dann an einen ganz abgelegenen Strand gefahren & haben da übernachtet. So richtig mit Lagerfeuer in den Schlafsäcken unter dem Sternenhimmel mit Gitarre & so weiter. Richtig schön war das! & schwimmen im Pazifik war natürlich auch drin. Kalt, aber war schön :-)
Am 2. Weihnachtstag haben wir eine Tradition von Lorenz weiterleben lassen: Wir sind ins Kino gegangen. Javier, Camilo, Diego, Lorenz, Katrin, Caspar, Johanna & ich. & was haben wir geguckt? - "Der Hobbit 2" natürlich. War schön!
Naja & ab da ging's mir eigentlich immer schlechter. Hatte Fieber, Halsschmerzen, war die ganze Zeit voll der Schlappi. Sind dann aber trotzdem am Sonntagabend los nach Valparaíso mit dem Nachtbus. Das war ohne Witz die schlimmste Busfahrt meines Lebens & am nächsten Tag in Valparaíso war der erste Weg, den ich mit Johanna beschritten habe erstmal der ins Krankenhaus. Da hing ich dann 3 Stunden am Tropf & hab' noch 'n paar Medikamente gespritzt bekommen, weil ich nichts schlucken konnte, weil mein Hals so angeschwollen war. Hab' mir gleich richtig gegönnt: Mittelohr- & Mandelentzündung. Aber Johanna war die ganze Zeit mit dabei, ich war also gut aufgehoben & mir geht's jetzt auch wieder gut. Muss mal wieder Antibiotikum & Schmerzmittel nehmen, aber was soll's. Ich hol' jetzt an Krankenhausbesuchen einfach das auf, was ich in Deutschland verpasst habe. Da war ich ja noch nie als Patient im Krankenhaus. Jedenfalls haben wir Silvester natürlich tortzdem in Valparaíso gefeiert, aber als einzig Nüchterne unter 1000 Saufnasen.. sagen wir, das Feuerwerk war wirklich richtig schön! Aber ansonsten war's für mich einfach nicht so geil :-D
Das waren jedenfalls meine Feiertage. Ziemlich anders, aber im Großen & Ganzen ziemlich cool & auf jeden Fall 'ne Erfahrung. Ich für meinen Teil haben jetzt bis Carsten kommt noch 3 Wochen sturmfrei, weil Johanna & Caspar schon reisen, weil die schon Urlaub haben. Ich bin vollkommen überfordert mit so viel Freizeit :-D Ich hoffe, ihr habt alles gut überstanden & startet nur mit Vorsätzen ins neue Jahr, die man auch einhalten kann. Ich persönlich habe mal wieder keine. Wie immer quasi. Dicke Umarmung aus dem viel zu heißen Chile, macht euch keine Sorgen, mir geht's gut, eure Johanna :-)

Hey all of you out there, how are you? & how did y'all spent your Christmas days? Did everything go well? Don't know if you can imagine, but my Christmas this year was a little different from what I'm used to:
The 22nd of Deciembre early in the morning, our visitors from Paraguay arrived, Katrin & Lorenz. That's why we had a little party Sunday night to welcome them & to give them the possibility to get to know some of our friends here. On Monday, our guests went to see the work of Johanna & Caspar & we prepared our Christmas Eve by grocery shopping, making some Pebre (typical chilean sauce) & making some fruits & vegetables. Aditionally, it was Sophia's Birthday which we celebrated a little at her house.
On December 24th we just grabbed all of our stuff & took a bus to Tomé, because there is an awesome PLAYA! We built our own BBQ at the beach, cooked our stuff & had an awesome time. Not too cool: All of us fell asleep in the heat of the day; dang, all of us sunburned pretty bad. Not funny. But at night, when we got back, we just had a shower & went straight to church: You always need a bit tradition for Christmas Eve if it's not for your family. Afterwards we had some fruits in our house & switched presents. I didn't get a lot for Christmas, but what I got was the best. I skyped with my family for the first time in 6 months which was pretty badass & I got the Bus tickets to Valparaíso where we actually wanted to celebrat new years from Johanna. That was so sweet :-)
On the 25th we went to Camilo to go to another isolated beach to sleep there. We had a bonfire, slept under the stars & enjoyed playing the guitar. It was just awesome. We also had the chance to swim in the Pacific which was pretty cool. & the 26th we lived a tradition of Lorenz: Going to the movies. We (Camilo, Javier, Diego, Caspar, Lorenz, Katrin, Johanna & me) watched "The Hobbit 2" & it was a pretty cool tradition, I gotta admit. Had a great night!
From that on, I felt worse & worse. I had a pretty high fever, my throat & my stomach killed me because it hurt so bad & I couldn't really do anything. I was simply sick. However, we started our trip to Valparaíso on Sunday night anyways (the worst trip in bus by far for me), but the first thing Johanna & I did when we arrived there was going to a Hospital because I felt that bad. Well, I was on a drip for a couple of hours & got some injections because I couldn't swallow any kind of pill & afterwards I really felt better! That was awesome. So we got to know the city a bit & had some pretty cool days in Valparaíso, which by the way is one of the most beautiful cities I've ever seen. & I've been in a couple of cool cities ;-) Anyways, New Year's Eve was not as great for me because I was the only one not drinking anything.. in contrast to about a million other people around me. But let's put it this way: The display of fireworks was AWESOME! So I myself enjoyed a bit as well :-)
So, now you got a sneak peek of what my Christmas week was like. It was really cool, especially having visitors from Paraguay!, however having spent it with the family must have been sweet as well ;-) Right now I have the run of our casa here, because Johanna & Caspar are already travelling Chile while I still have to work 3 more weeks. But that's okay. Because in 3 weeks, my boyfriend will come to visit me. I'm freaking excited, can't even put it in words :-) Anyways, I hope you had a great week of Christmas yourself & that all of you are doing fine. I miss you, and don't worry about me, I'm doing pretty good, love & hugs from Johanna.
