Sooo viel zu erzählen... / So many things happened...

     Huhu :-) - ist schon wieder viel zu lange her, ich weiß, & es tut mir wohl auch leid, aber ich denke, ihr versteht, dass ich nicht alles sofort auf meinem Blog posten kann. Dafür bekommt ihr heute wieder etwas mehr zu lesen. Zum Einen war ich vor drei Wochen auf diesem Camp in Tumbes. Zusammenfassend lässt sich sagen: Wenig Schlaf, aber die verbliebene Zeit gut genutzt. Es fiel mir ein bisschen schwer, dass ich keine richtige Aufgabe hatte. Ich war halt mit dabei, habe mich auch super mit allen, vorallem mit den Kindern, verstanden, aber ich hatte keine eigene Gruppe oder Aufgabe. Das war ein bisschen fremd für mich, denn das bin ich vom Konfirmandenunterricht definitiv anders gewohnt. Außerdem hatte ich dann als „Beobachter“ einfach auch viel mehr zu bemängeln, aber das habe ich natürlich nicht gleich raushängen lassen :D ich bin ja immerhin Gast & war ja froh, dass die mich mitgenommen haben! Aber manchmal gibt es halt Dinge, die ich... -sagen wir- anders machen würde. Aber trotzdem war’s schön! Hab‘ euch ein paar Fotos angehängt ;-)

     & vor 2 Wochen waren wir mit dem Team in Gillón (oder so ähnlich), um quasi mal ein paar Tage zu entspannen. Freitagabend sind wir mit anderthalbstündiger Verspätung (Willkommen in Chile) losgefahren & kamen abends so gegen halb 10 an. Dann wurde der Grill angeschmissen & los ging die Feier! Es war einfach super schön, vorallem, weil das eine gute Möglichkeit war, die anderen ein bisschen besser kennenzulernen. Es fällt mir immer noch schwer, so offen zu sein wie in Deutschland, was nicht am Umfeld, sondern an der Sprache liegt. Klar, ich verstehe alles. Ich kann inzwischen auch schon Diskussionen über die Gleichstellung von Homosexuellen oder Abtreibung führen, aber ich meine, dieser Tick, dass ich auf Deutsch einfach immer alles ausplauder, was mir so in den Sinn kommt, den habe ich hier noch nicht. Ich hoffe, der kommt noch. Ihr werdet es nicht glauben, aber jemand hat mir neulich gesagt, ich würde einen schüchternen Eindruck machen.. das belastet mich irgendwie..

     & letztens hatten wir Läuse. Super Sache.. nicht. Also, die Läuse sind schon wieder weg, aber ih! Ich habe jetzt ein bisschen einen Waschzwang & dusche jeden Tag so 2-3x. Bäh! Aber sonst geht’s uns gut, & während ihr gerade zu Hause sitzt bei Glühwein, Kälte & Weihnachtsdeko, so denke ich viel an euch & zu Hause, aber ich habe mal wieder einen Sonnenbrand, ernähre mich von Früchten wie Kirschen & Erdbeeren & schwitze mich tot. Irgendwie ist das seltsam, oder?

     Achso & vor 2 Tagen hatten wir mal wieder ein „Erdwackeln“. Das war sooooo cool! Hahahaha, keine Sorge, uns geht’s gut, wir sind nur immer wieder voll aus dem Häuschen, wenn sowas passiert. Ich hoffe, ihr habt eine super schöne Adventszeit! :-)

     Hey People, it’s been awhile, I’m ashamed.. But I’m pretty sure you guys understand that I can’t post everything immediately after it happended. However, it’s gonna be a little more information for you today. Three weekends ago I went on that Camp in Tumbes with kids from the Agüita and others from Talcahuano. It was super awesome! I really enjoyed being there even though it felt a bit strange not having a certain function. Sure, I was with them, but there was a team of leaders so that I was not „needed“ kind of. That’s not what I’m used to from Germany. In Germany I have a certain function & I really enjoy having one. Besides, as a observant I had a lot of things to complain about which I didn’t do in the end, but it’s easier to notice mistakes of the others. Anyways, I had a great weekend & got along perfectly with everyone, especially the kids. & Saturday night as a „goodbye kind of thing“ we had a bonfire at the beach & I played the guitar & sang a bit for all of them. That was super amazing! I also send you some pictures:-)

     & two weeks ago we went on a trip with the Team. We left on Friday, more than one hour late (welcome to Chile) & went to Gillón (or something similar, I can’t remember..) to relax & get to know each other better. That was super awesome! & after we arrived late at night on Friday, we had a great Barbecue. It’s still hard for me to be as open-minded as I am in Germany. I mean, I do understand pretty much everything now & I also can have discussions about abortion or equality of homosexuals, but still it’s hard for me to simply talk as much. In German (& as well in English) I’m just talking.. I’m talking about whatever pops up in my mind & exactly that’s the point. That’s exactly what I’m not doing in Spanish & I don’t even know why. Awhile ago, someone told me I seem to be shy.. like wtf, I’m not even close to „shy“ . I’m a bit shocked now..

     & last week we fought against other insects besides flees. Lice! Disgust! I don’t think there’s anything nearly as disgusting as lice! I mean, we won the battle; we’re free of lice now, but still. As a result, I’m having a shower like twice a day because I’m feeling.. occupied by insects :-D But otherwise we’re doing pretty well. & while you guys are waiting for the summer to come back, having Christmas decoration & drinking hot chocolate, I’m eating strawberries & cherries all day long & always have a sunburn. Upside down. Oh, & before I forget: We had another earthquake here.. uhm, 2 days ago, I think. Wow, that was kind of awesome, haha :-) Have a great time of Advent!
