Armeisenscheiße! / Say: CHEESE!

     Liebe Fangemeinde, 

manche Menschen denken auch, Zitronenfalter falten Zitronen (für die unter euch, die das bisher auch geglaubt haben & deren Weltbild ich jetzt auf ein Neues zerstört habe: Tun sie nicht. Der Zitronenfalter ist eine Schmetterlingsart). Manchmal hat man einfach Begegnungen mit seltsamen Menschen, die vergisst man einfach nicht. Nehmt es dann, wenn es mal wieder soweit ist, sich an die Stirn zu fassen, nicht so schwer. Jeder hat mal diese "Kopf-meets-Tischplatte"-Momente & das ist okay. Wenn ihr euch das Leben einfach machen wollt, dann kann ich euch dafür leider kein Rezept geben, so bin ich für gewöhnlich nämlich nicht, aber vermutlich ist es: Lasst sie einfach reden. Wenn ihr euer Leben lieber ein bisschen kreativ gestalten wollt (haha, Euphemismus hier), dann sagt den Menschen, was ihr über sie denkt. Aber auch genau so, wie ihr es über sie denkt. Naja, genug geklugscheißert.

     Ich war heute jedenfalls mal wieder beim Zahnarzt. Ich weiß, ihr wollt vielleicht lieber über was Anderes lesen als über den gesundheitlichen Zustand meiner Zähne, aber das ist nun einmal was, was mich in den letzten Tagen (bzw. in der gesamten letzten Woche... scheiß Zahnschmerzen...) so beschäftigt hat. Jedenfalls: Karies ist natürlich was für Anfänger. Wenn ich schon mal in Chile bin, kann ich mir natürlich gleich 'ne Runde "Wurzelentzündung" gönnen. & weil's so schön ist, natürlich gleich an zwei Zähnen. Das Leben hier ist ja sonst auch noch nicht spannend genug (IRONIE nennt man sowas).. Ich war also am Dienstag noch bei einer anderen Zahnärztin, die den Zahn nochmal geröntgt hat & die mich danach mit einem Rezept für zwei Antibiotika gegen Wurzelentzündungen & tausend Schmerzmitteln weiter zu einem Spezialisten geschickt hat. Da war ich dann am Mittwoch schon einmal, als er den ersten Zahn gemacht hat. (Kleiner Einschub: Ich darf meinen Zahn/meine Zähne wohl behalten :-P Puh!) Johanna ist mitgekommen &  hat seelische Unterstützung geleistet. Sie musste sich dann mit angucken, wie der Arzt mir da 5cm lange Schrauben in den Kiefer gedreht hat. Ich glaube, das tat ihr mehr weh als mir, denn ich habe vorab zwei volle Spritzen Betäubungsmittel bekommen, von den Schmerzmitteln, die ich vorher schon geschluckt hatte, mal ganz abgesehen. Nach anderthalb Stunden war der erste Zahn fertig, & ich mit der Rechnung auch vollkommen bedient.. Heute war ich also wieder da, yeah! War aber ganz angenehm, mit Ausnahme. Denn nach dieser Behandlung konnte ich meinen rechten Mundwinkel aufgrund der Betäubung leider gar nicht mehr gebrauchen.. mein Lächeln sah eher suboptimal aus. Foto hängt an, haha, ich Opfer. Aber ich glaube, zum Zahnarzt gehen wird mein neues Hobby, aber ich mach' das ja, damit es mir besser geht & das tut es inzwischen schon. Ich meine, Montag kam ich nach der Arbeit nach Hause & hab erstmal 'ne halbe Stunde geheult, weil ich solche Schmerzen hatte, aber heute habe ich sogar nur heute Morgen Schmerzmittel genommen! Ich bin ja so stolz:) Jedenfalls geht's mir besser. Ich war bei insgesamt drei verschiedenen Zahnärzten, kann den nächsten Freiwilligen nach mir also 'n bisschen was empfehlen & hatte heute endlich mal wieder einen super Tag! 

     Frühling ist aber auch was Feines:-) Tut mir leid für euch, dass bei euch schon Herbst ist & damit die Chance auf Schnee in den nächsten Tagen/Wochen steigt, haha;-) Achso! Ganz wichtig noch: Heute hat Chile gegen Kolumbien gespielt (WM-Qualifikationsspiel).. schwache Leistung, Chile. 3:0 geführt & im Endeffekt unentschieden gespielt. Kannst mir nicht erzählen, dass man darauf stolz sein kann, aber das war ja vor ein paar Monaten bei Deutschland-Schweden (oder so..) nicht anders. Haha. Sonntag Abend spielt Chile noch einmal gegen Ecuador. Im Grunde genommen ist es egal, wie sie spielen, solange Uruguay gegen Argentinien nicht 5:0 gewinnt, ist Chile definitiv nächstes Jahr dabei. Naaaaaja, so ganz überzeugt bin ich noch nicht. Aber mit Sicherheit halte ich euch auf dem Laufenden, denn ich kann mir vorstellen, dass die Chilenen (wie bei ungefähr allem, wenn es um ihren Nationalstolz geht) am Sonntag so richtig abgehen werden, wenn's dann wirklich offiziell wird, dass Chile zur WM fährt.

some people just need a highfive. In the face. With a chair. I know that sounds kinda hard, right? But I'm serious: You will meet people in your life who you cannot forget because of their.. dumbness. We all have those moments when we think "head against desk" about certain people but seriously? You have a choice: You either make yourself have an easy life by ignoring those people (I'm not super sure about that one because I'm not that kind of a person that "makes herself have an easy life) or you are kind of creative in designing your life (euphemism right here!) by telling people what you think of them. It makes it even more fun when you tell them exactly how you feel about them. Okay, enough about that for now.

     Anyways I was at the dentist's... again. I can imagine you preferring other things to read than my state of health but this is what I was dealing with the last couple of days (well.. the last week.. shitty toothache). Anyways: Caries is for beginners & I'm obviously NOT a beginner. So, I'm in Chile right now, that's why I thought having a fang treatment at two teeth would be super fun (irony)! On thursday I went to that other dentist & she made me have my teeth x-rayed, gave me a prescription for two antibiotics & about a thousand different painkillers & send me to another specialist to whom I went on Wednesday for the first time (which will not be the last one. Oh, you need to know as well that I can keep my teeth, haha:)). Johanna went with me to that specialist to give me some courage & I bet it hurt her more when the specialist drilled some bolts (about 5cm long) into my jaw. Because I got like two full injecitions in my jaw plus all of those painkillers I took in the morning; I noticed hardly anything. After one & a half hour of lying there, doing nothing but listening to music, the first tooth was done... & I was done after having a sneak-peek on the bill.. dang it! So, today I had to go there again. It was okay.. including exceptions. I couldn't move the right side of my face, especially around my mouth, because I got so much anasthetic (that's why I look so strange in the picture I uploaded, hahaha... NOT funny). However, I'm thinking going to the dentist is a great hobby to start with, just kidding, I'm doing it to feel better, because on Monday, when I came home from work, I just sat here for half an hour, crying, because it hurt so bad. But today, i.e. it didn't hurt at all & I only took painkillers in the morning, yeah! So proud:) Anyways, I was at three different dentist's, that's why I can recommend some to the nixt volunteers here & I had a great day today.

     Well, it's spring here, that's why it's that great. Spring here means, it's fall in the USA & Germany, and (especially) in Germany that means that it's time for some snow!!! Hahaha:) Oh, before I forget to tell you guys: Today was an important soccer game for Chile: Chile vs. Columbia. After being ahead 3:0 in the first half, in the end they played 3:3, which definitely is not an achievement. But Germany didn't play differently versus Sweden a couple of months ago (at least that's what I heard), so, WHATEVER. On Sunday, Chile has to play vs. Ecuador, & it pretty much doesn't matter in the end, if they win or lose because the only way Chile is not going to the World Cup next year is when Uruguay wins 5:0 against Argentina.. let's just take a guess: How realistic is that? - Well, I'm not convinced yet, but we'll see what comes around on Sunday & I will definitely let you guys know because the Chilean people celebrate everything as long as it's about their national pride (which is way more than the US-Americans, sorry guys:P) & that means, we will have a big party Sunday night IF Chile really goes to the World Cup, haha:)
