SANTIAGO!

So, ihr Lieben, ich weiss, es ist schon Ewigkeiten her, dass ich was von mir habe hoeren lassen & ausserdem habe ich euch VERSPROCHEN letzten Dienstag etwas ueber unsere Santiagoreise gepostet zu haben.. Nunja, ich Paradebeispiel an Intelligenz habe leider letzten Montag meinen Laptop kaputt gemacht & muss seither ohne leben, was auszuhalten ist, zumal Johanna & Caspar mich staendig an ihre Laptops lassen, damit ich nicht komplett von der Aussenwelt abgeschnitten bin. Jedenfalls sitze ich jetzt gerade an Caspars Laptop & schreibe euch (an dieser Stelle: DANKE CASPAR!).

Santiago war einfach super schoen, auch wenn alle unsere Freunde uns gesagt haben, dass Santiago haesslich sei (richtige Schnacker, sag ich euch!). Denn, wenn Santiago etwas nicht ist, dann haesslich. Wir konnten sogar jeden Tag die Anden sehen, die man auch auf ein paar Fotos sehen kann, die ich euch angehaengt habe (kleine Info: ein paar von den Fotos sind von Johanna, VIELEN DANK, DASS ICH JENE BENUTZEN DARF, LIEBE JOHANNA <3!). Jedenfalls sind wir am Donnerstag, als wir am spaeten Nachmittag ankamen, erst in unser Hostel & dann noch ein bisschen durch die Stadt gezogen. Am Freitag mussten Johanna & ich erst einmal unser H&M-Beduerfnis beim einzigen H&M in ganz Chile stillen. Hat geklappt ;-) Nachmittags waren wir beim "Plaza de Armas", welcher in jeder groessen Stadt quasi die fruehere Stadtmitte anzeigt & dann noch bei der "Moneda", dem Regierungsgebäude der Chilenen & abends sind wir noch ein bisschen kneipentourmaessig durch die Stadt gezogen. Am Samstag haben wir vormittags aufgrund schlechten Wetters rumgegammelt & nachmittags waren wir beim "Cerro Santa Lucia", von dem man ueber die ganze Stadt gucken konnten & haben danach noch im hostelnahen Park "gechillt", weil wir abends noch feiern wollten. Waren wir auch; war auf jeden Fall interessant! :-D Am Sonntag haben wir natuerlich nicht ausgeschlafen, denn (so wurde mir zumindest immer eingefloesst) wer feiern kann, kann auch arbeiten, oder -wie in unserem Falle- ne Runde sight seeing betreiben. Also, auf ging´s zum "Cerro Cristóbal", auf den wir mit einer Seilbahn gefahren sind & von dem wir eine super Aussicht hatten! Oh, Santiago ist so schoen! :-) Alles in allem war´s n super Urlaub & ich koennte euch noch so viel erzaehlen, aber nein, sowas muss man erleben. Einfach nur lesen ist wohl doch etwas langweilig. Kleiner Tipp: Trinkt nicht das Wasser aus dem Hahn, wenn ihr jemals in Santiago seid!

Ich werde mich bald wieder melden! Drueckt mir die Daumen, dass ich das naechste Mal von meinem treuen Laptop wieder schreibe, haha :-) Herzlichste Gruesse aus dem inzwischen fast sommerlich-warmen Chile!

Hey people! I know you haven't heard from me in forever, but I broke my Laptop. I know, right? I'm just too smart. Anyways, I'm sorry you haven't gotten an update on our Santiago trip yet, but I'm gonna change that right now. THANKS TO CASPAR that I can use his Laptop for now:-)

Santiago is super beautiful even if our friends all said that it's "super feo" (ugly), which definitely is not the case. I know what I'm talking about! Every day we were able to see the Andes which was pretty impressive! In some of the pictures I will upload as well, you can see the Andes (info: I got some of those pics from Johanna, THANKS TO YOU THAT I'M ALLOWED TO USE THOSE <3!). When we arrived on Thursday we left our luggage in the hostel & took the rest of that awesome afternoon for a short walk through the city. On Friday Johanna & I had to allay our hunger for H&M at the only H&M store in Chile. Good way to start a day ;-) In the afternoon we went to the "Plaza de armas" which is kind of the center in each "bigger city" here in Chile. It's pretty & there are a lot of Palms:-) Later on we went to the "Moneda" which is kind of the Government Building here, & at night we left the hostel to eat some mexican food & kind of tour through some bars in Santiago. On Saturday we didn't do much in the morning because the weather was bad, but in the afternoon we went to the "Cerro Santa Lucia" & had a great view over Santiago! Later on we "chilled" in a park near to our hostel because at night we wanted to go out partying, which we did & it was definitely a nice experience to be made. On Sunday we didn't sleep in because (at least my parents always told me so) those who can party, can also work - well, in our case "do some sight seeing" instead of "work", but at least we got up early to go onto the "Cerro Cristóbal" from which we also had a great view of the city! Santiago is simply beautiful & I could tell you a whole lot more, but I don't want to waste your time. You should just come here some time:-) Hint: Don't drink the water from the faucet!

Okay, I will give some other updates some time. Wish me luck that my loyal Laptop will work again some time soon! Greetings from the other side of the world:-)

Statur auf dem "Cerro Cristóbal", von dem wir Kulturbanausen nicht einmal den Namen wissen. Aber sie hat uns an jene in Rio de Janeiro erinnert. / Statue on top of the "Cerro Cristóbal", of which we don't even know the name, haha. But it reminded us of that one in Rio de Janeiro, you know?
